Creative brief for a challenge tomb for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Time: 2 weeks
Master watchmaker Paul Ditisheim, fearing for the safety of his inventions during the Second World War, decided to establish a sanctuary in the Valais mountains, dedicated to preserving the secrets of watchmaking.

Pitch
The first step was to find a fresh source. I started with a local legend: mountains are protective spirits. To anchor this legend in reality, I added it to the real-life events of the Second World War.

Level Design
My goal was to make the pendulum a versatile brick, to be able to use it in different ways: as a platfeform to get over a killzone, as a brick that prevents you from getting through, and finally as a way of creating an opening.
